End User License Agreement
TypeVoice is distributed through the App Store. By installing or using the app you agree to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “LAEUA”), together with the TypeVoice-specific additions below. If you do not agree to either, do not download or use the app.
Apple's standard licence
Every iOS app sold or distributed through the App Store is licensed under Apple's LAEUA unless the developer publishes a custom agreement. TypeVoice does not. The full text is published by Apple:
https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
Read it once — it covers the basics: a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to install the app on iPhones you own or control; Apple is the storefront and the support escalation path of last resort; you must comply with US export controls; and the product is provided “as is” under the warranties Apple defines.
TypeVoice-specific terms
- Subscriptions. Pro features are unlocked through an auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple. Pricing, renewal, and cancellation terms live in the Terms of Use. Apple handles refunds.
- Free trial. New users receive 10 free dictations without any account or payment method. Trial counters are stored on-device.
- No reverse engineering beyond what Apple's EULA permits. Do not attempt to extract, modify, or redistribute the model weights, prompts, or proprietary keyboard code.
- AI output is not warranted. TypeVoice uses Apple's on-device speech recognition and Apple Intelligence to transcribe and polish dictation. The output can contain mistakes — wrong words, missed names, awkward rewrites. You are responsible for reviewing the inserted text before sending or publishing it.
- Acceptable use. Do not use TypeVoice to break the law, harass others, or abuse the App Store refund or trial system (creating multiple Apple Accounts to repeatedly redeem the trial, etc.).
- Privacy. TypeVoice does not collect, store, or sell your voice or transcripts. The full data picture is in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this agreement by reference.
Termination
This licence ends automatically if you violate any of its terms. You may end it at any time by deleting the app and, if subscribed, cancelling Pro through your Apple Account settings.
Governing law and disputes
Apple's LAEUA sets the governing law (the laws of the State of California unless your residence requires otherwise) and the dispute-resolution framework. The TypeVoice-specific additions above are governed by the same law.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TypeVoice is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties not explicitly granted in this agreement or in Apple's LAEUA. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, lost profit, or business interruption — arising from your use of the app.
Changes
We may revise this agreement when the product changes materially (for example, if we ship a feature that requires a new permission or stores new data). The date at the top is updated whenever a change is published, and continued use of the app means you accept the revised terms.
