Terms of Use
These terms apply to the TypeVoice iPhone app, the typevoice.app website, and any related services (together, “TypeVoice”). By downloading or using TypeVoice you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
License to use
TypeVoice grants you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on iPhones you own or control, under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Free trial
New users receive 10 free dictations to try the app. Trial use does not require a subscription, payment method, or account. Once the trial is exhausted, an active TypeVoice Pro subscription is required to continue dictating.
TypeVoice Pro subscriptions

Prices listed apply to customers in the United States. Pricing in other countries or regions may vary and will be displayed in your local currency before you confirm the purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. After purchase, you can manage or cancel subscriptions from Settings ▸ Apple ID ▸ Subscriptions on your iPhone.
Acceptable use
- Do not use TypeVoice to break the law, harass others, or transmit content you do not have permission to share.
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying models or source code beyond what Apple's standard EULA permits.
- Do not abuse the App Store refund or trial system (creating multiple Apple Accounts to repeatedly redeem the trial, etc.).
AI-generated output
TypeVoice uses Apple's on-device speech recognition and Apple Intelligence to transcribe and polish your dictation. AI output can contain mistakes — wrong words, missed names, awkward rewrites. You are responsible for reviewing the inserted text before sending, publishing, or otherwise relying on it. TypeVoice provides no warranty as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose.
Privacy
TypeVoice does not collect, store, or sell your voice or transcripts. Details are in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.
Disclaimer
TypeVoice is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TypeVoice and its developers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app or website, including loss of data or business interruption.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, surfaced in the app. Continued use of TypeVoice after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Termination
You may stop using TypeVoice at any time by uninstalling the app and, if subscribed, cancelling Pro from your Apple Account settings.
